History

The Stewardship Group has its roots in Stewardship Capital Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore on 2nd August 1997. 

Stewardship Capital's activities were centered on offering investment management consulting services to institutional clients, which had included a University Endowment Fund and a major Foundation. 

In 1999 the group's core leadership was greatly enhanced when Mr. Choo Lye Heng, and Mr. Allen J Pathmarajah joined the founder Mr. David Goh Kay Yong, as strategic equity partners. At the time, an important initiative was taken to develop an "investment guild" involving the association of a selected number of investment professionals each seeking to incubate and establish their own independent fund management boutique firms. Stewardship Capital provided consulting services to these associates in the areas of investment process, strategy, compliance, and economic analysis. in 1999 Stewardship Consulting, led by Mr Maurice Lam was incorporated, and in 2000 Stewardship Equity was incorporated.

We are an investment holding company with strategic stakes in exciting growth companies, and a strategic advisory group with interests in consulting services, and we founded and support a Public Company Limited by Guarantee (ie non-profit Organisation) called Project Chulia Street.
